Registering
You will be able to register to Wiclear only if the admin allow it. In the case the admin allowed it, you will see a Register link. For example, on this site, the Register link is located at the bottom of the page.
Click on it, you will be displayed a register form.
The first part of the form is an antibot workaround : an image is generated containing some text, and you have to write it down to prove you're not a bot trying to spam the site.
The second part of the form is the login form, you will have to complete at least :
- login : your login which will be asked to you later when loging in.
- Email : a valid email adress
- Password : a password to protect your account
- First name and Last name are not mandatory. You can complete them if you want to.
- "Lang for content" indicates your preferred lang when browsing the site. This site is available in two langs : english and french. If you want to browse in french, enter "fr" here. Each time a page will be available in french it will be displayed to you. If it's not available in french, then the default lang of the site (english here) will be used to display the page.
- "lang for interface" is the lang to use for displaying the interface. Let's say you're russian but you understand french, not english. You will set "fr" as the "lang for content" and "ru" as the "lang for interface". Interface here means all bu the content. It means all forms, links will be translated in the "lang for interface" language.
Once you have completed the form, click on the "Register" button.
Why register
Some features are only allowed to registered users. For example, subscribing to a page is only allowed to registered user. The admin may also allow page modifications to registered users only.
